Who it’s for
People who record videos by themselves on iPhone and post them: creators, small businesses and professionals who make videos to sell, teach or show their work. It also works for anyone who records trips and family moments and wants them organized.
What it does
- Records in takes. Hold the record button (or tap to start and stop, or use the volume button). Each recording becomes a numbered take.
- Lets you redo only one take. Missed a line? Record that part again instead of the whole video.
- Organizes every recording as a project. Takes go into the project they belong to, not loose in the camera roll. Projects are unlimited.
- Edits in place: trim, reorder, split and duplicate takes; crop for 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9; 12 color adjustments, for the whole project or one take; photo overlays; voiceover.
- Captions on the device. Your voice is transcribed on your iPhone, in any language it can transcribe on the device. You can fix words and timing, write captions by hand, burn them into the video or export a .srt file.
- Exports a video ready to post to your camera roll, with no watermark. You can also export a ZIP with your original takes and the project.
- Keeps your work: export all your projects at once, or move a project to another iPhone, on any plan. Pro adds backup and sync to your own iCloud.
- Camera: 1080p, 1440p or 4K, at 24, 30 or 60 fps, with stabilization, a ring light, onion skin between takes and a script on screen.
What it doesn’t do
- No editing timeline, templates or effects. For those, you can open your takes in a video editor.
- No music catalog. On Pro, you bring your own music.
- No professional camera formats like LOG, and no recording with two cameras at once.
- No Android, Mac or desktop version.
- No ads, analytics or tracking in the app.

Free ($0). No account needed. Unlimited recording and projects, every edit tool listed above, captions, and 2 final videos a month in 1080p, with no watermark. Exporting a ZIP or a complete project doesn’t count toward the 2.
Pro ($9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year with 7 days free). Unlimited final videos up to 4K, action mode and landscape mode, recording and exporting to an external drive, backup and sync to your own iCloud, your own music, voice and audio filters, 5 caption styles and your own fonts.

Privacy
Captions are always made on the iPhone, so your audio never leaves it. Without an account, nothing leaves your iPhone. Your projects never come to us: with Pro, the backup goes to your own iCloud. Read the privacy policy.
